How to Use Advanced Disk Recovery?
Advanced Disk Recovery helps restore lost and deleted documents, images, files, video, and audio files from both internal and external storage media. Once the product is launched you need to select the scan area to scan.
By default, Hard Drive is selected and you can select the disk partition by clicking the down arrow. Also, you can scan Removable, Partitions, and CD/DVD.
Note: If the Removable Drive option is greyed out, it means the drive is not connected. Therefore, before launching Advanced Disk Recovery, ensure it is connected to the PC.
Once the drive to scan is selected, follow the steps to scan the system for deleted files and recover them.
- Click the Start Scan Now button
- Select the scan type > click Scan now button.
- Wait for the scan to finish.
- Review scan results > select the files to restore > click the Recover button.
- You will now get a Browse For Folder window.
- Select the folder to save the recovered files.
Make sure the drive you are scanning is not the same on which you are recovering the deleted files. - Wait for the recovery process to finish and that’s it. You will now be able to access the recovered files from the folder you saved files on.
