How to Perform Deep Scan?
If the deleted or lost files are not detected in Quick Scan, we suggest running Deep Scan. As it is more in-depth, you’ll be able to find almost all deleted files. To run it follow the steps below:
1. Launch Advanced Disk Recovery.
2. From the home screen select the area to scan (internal or external drive).
3. When prompted, select Deep Scan option > click Scan now button.
4. Deep Scan takes time depending on the disk size and deleted data to recover.
5. Wait for the scanning to complete.
6. Once done you will get a list of all deleted files that you can recover using Advanced Disk Recovery.
7. Select the files to restore > Recover > browse to the location where you wish to save the recovered files > Recover.
Tip: Never save the recovered data on the same disk partition from which it was deleted. Doing so minimizes the chances of further data recovery.
8. Once the deleted files are retrieved you get a summary of the action performed.
Note: You can select only one drive at a time for recovery.
