Using Filter Options
Photos Recovery lets you configure the recovery options via Settings > Filter Options.
File Formats - By default Photos Recovery scans the system for deleted photo format files with JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, TIF, JFIF, and JP2 format.
Audio Formats - AAC, M4A, MP3, WAV, and WMA
Video Formats - MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, and MKV
In addition to this, you can scan the system for other image formats like RAW, Raster Photos, Vector Photos, audio formats AIFF, AU, CDA, MIDI, M3D, RM, RPS, RFL, and RNS, and Video formats like 3GP, MTS, FLC, CLK, DVM, ANM, AVS, M4V, MOI, ANI, QT, SMJPE and MJPEG.
You need to select these options to recover these file types.
To select file type:
1. Launch Photos Recovery.
2. Click the icon
from the top bar of Photos Recovery and select the Settings option.
3. This will open a new window. Click Filter Options in the left pane.
4. You will now see a list of all supported file formats in the right pane. Select the file types you want to scan the system to recover lost or deleted files.
5. After selecting the Audio/Video and Image file formats > click Apply button to save changes.
6. Now run Photos Recovery to scan the selected drive for deleted photos, audio, or video files.
