Method 1 – Encrypting Via Folder Properties

Go to File Explorer. Press Windows + E.
Select and right-click the file or folder you want to encrypt.
Click the Properties option.

Press Windows + S and in the search box type Manage BitLocker.

Click Turn on BitLocker.
Let the BitLocker run and check for PC configuration.
You will now get two options Insert USB and Enter a password.
To encrypt using a password click Enter a password follow on-screen instructions and encrypt the drive.

Method 3 – Encrypting Documents Using MS Word

When it comes to encryption, documents are the most commonly affected files. If you are a regular MS Word user, you can start using the internal document encryption feature. All you have to do is –

Step 1 – Open the document on your computer using MS Word.
Step 2 – Navigate to File > Info > Protect Document > Encrypt with Password.
