    RD /S /Q “%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicy”
    gpupdate /force

Step #3 – Remove Any Temporary Files the Malware Might Have Created

Next, you need to get rid of temporary files from your PC. To do so, simply – 

  • Press Windows + R to open the run search utility. Run window
  • In the Run, use the command “%Temp%” and hit enter
  • It will open a folder with all the temporary files.temporary-files-folder
  • These have nothing major, so you can simply select all and delete them.

Deleting these files can help you remove even the traces of the malware. 

Step #4 – Reset Browser to Default Settings
