Easily Update Drivers In Windows Using Advanced Driver Updater!
If you've decided to update drivers using the trial version of Advanced Driver Updater, follow these steps to manually install drivers on Windows.
Tip: If you are short on time or are not tech-savvy, upgrade to the registered version of the Advanced Driver Updater, and update all outdated drivers in just a few clicks. It is the easiest and fastest way to update drivers.
1 Launch Advanced Driver Updater
Open Advanced Driver Updater and click the Start Scan Now button to scan the system for outdated drivers. Wait for the scanning to finish and get information from servers about corrupt or problematic drivers.
2 Update Outdated Drivers
After scanning the system for outdated drivers, update the driver(s) using the free version of the product. To update the driver, click Update driver next to the system driver you wish to update. You will now get a new pop-up window; click Update to proceed.
3 Manually Download Driver Update
To proceed, select the Manually Update option > click Continue. Wait for Advanced Driver Updater to download the setup file. Depending on the file size, this might take some time. Once done, click Continue.
4 Install Outdated Drivers
Once Advanced Driver Updater finishes downloading the driver update - click Continue. Clicking on the button will open the Advanced Driver Updater installation window. Click Manually Install > Continue to proceed.
5 Extract driver files
Advanced Driver Updater will now open the folder where the compressed driver download file is stored. Extract the driver file you are manually installing.

6 Extracting files manually
To decompress the zip file, you can either use the Windows file extractor tool or can use a third-party tool.
In any case, you’ll need to right-click on the zip file and select Extract all or Extract files... depending on the tool you are using. Next, choose the location where you want to extract the driver files.
However, if you cannot find the installer file, you will need to install the driver manually.
7 Open Installer
After extracting the driver files manually, go to the location where files are extracted and saved. Look for the .exe (installer file), click on it and follow on-screen instructions to install the driver update.
When done, restart the PC to apply changes.
However, if you cannot find the installer file, you will need to install the driver manually. To do so, you’ll need to use the Windows built-in driver utility - Device Manager.
